You have a wonderful talent for blending photography with digital photography. I’m partial to Camden, particularly Belsize Park… do you have any other pix of that?
Danke!
Hi Jada…and thank you for stopping by! I don’t like to use filters because they change the whole photo. I prefer to process the pictures partially in light, colors and contrasts. For this I use the different tools in Photoshop.
Wow, you have so much talent, in seeing a beautiful shot, in capturing the perfect moment and in enhancing it. The shots become both real and surreal. Makes me want to visit the places in your photos. Because I know even though they won’t quite look the same, they will provide the same emotions.
Grand. Perfect. I so loved Camden last summer in London. We were a bit on a short schedule but I convinced every one to go. A load of photos to sort still. 😉
Your photo gives a very good impression of the place.
Great light on the chimney stacks, and I wonder what they’re talking about? Had to smile when I saw the KFC banner. A little touch of home in London! Places like that always made me feel a little less like a stranger in another land when there.
I don’t like to use filters in postprocessing because it would effect the entire image. I prefer to edit my photos partially with brushes and layer masks in Photoshop. What produces a good effect is to intensify the contrasts. I also keep an eye on the color wheel for harmonious color results.
I love the processing of this shot – Camden (especially this very street) is such a vibrant place and the light and the processing really gives this shot a ‘buzz’.

You picked the right time of day. Both sun against the buildings with grey skies further in the background. Excellent work.
