  4. It more look-a-like that the marriage was arranged which made her to visualise the future. The blue flower probably depicts her softness which might be tore down in case the marriage wouldn’t work as she supposed it to be! Brilliant work thou (Y)!

    I like this picture. It makes me think and dare to dream. What I see is the inner struggle. Being physically in the room, but mentally totally somewhere else. Maybe she wonders about if the grass is greener on the other side? About where she could have been if she wasn`t married? The answer can be many, but a picture like this makes it easier to see the opportunities of why you feel distant where you are.

      • One quick question, Josephine…I’m guessing that is a blue lotus flower? If yes, was it intended to be about the Buddhist symbol of purity & detachment or the Greek idea of Lotus Eaters- from Homer…the dreamy, forgetful, melancholic symbol. Just curious. Love your art! Makes me think.
