    • I found this place near Ham House and Garden, London (Richmond). It was on our way back from Ham House to the next bus station. I think it’s the Ham Street.

      • A place like London seems like there would be so many opportunities for art, and photography. I have never been there but I have traveled to other countries. Eventually I would like to do more art on the go, maybe City-scapes or portraits. I think it would be a great compliment to a trip. Do you have any more travel plans in your immediate future?

      • I hope to come back to London soon but have no concrete travelling date….there’s so much going on here at the moment. I definitely need a change of scene. Do you have holiday plans for 2016?

      • Hope you make it back! I traveled to Japan in 2015, so this year I will probably spend recovering (financially) Much going on here too. Seems like every year goes by faster and faster!

      • As I was told Japan must be great . A friend of us was there many years ago. She was in Tokyo for some weeks and was very happy. Nice people there, beautiful shops and a wonderful night scene. You sure enjoyed a great time there.
Our last trip was to Hamburg last October. We were unlucky with the weather, so we made some ” indoor activities” and visited some museums and the Miniature Wonderland. We spent about 5 hours there and had so much fun…. 🙂

      • Cant say enough about Japan and the people. They are very welcoming, at least in our experience. Somewhat like landing on a different planet 🙂

I have been to Germany briefly , Europe as well. But of course there is always so much more to see. I have loose plans to travel around the USA by car / RV. In the next couple years, but it will take a lot of planning, have to work on work flexibility first 🙂

What is your background in photography, did you go to school or are you self-taught. How did you get started?

      • Woww….travelling around the USA by car seems to me absolutely great. What amazing plans you have! 🙂
Concerning photography, I wasn’t at any school but I know some very good photographers and I’m lucky that I was allowed to learn so much from them. And it’s also an advantage for me that I was working as interior designer many years ago…I’ve learned so much about colouring during that time.
Your work is really special and interesting – very intriguing “Frankie goes to Hollywood”. Great these robots. 🙂

      • Thanks for the encouragement. Yes USA by car so many places to see, I could spent my whole lifetime I think. Things are coming along nicely with our Webcomic. Slow progress is better than no progress. Do you know of any beginners resources for outdoor photography, Im sure there are many. But anything that you would recommend? Another skill I will need if we do travel 🙂 -Chris

      • Resources for outdoor photography… Some people carry a lot of things with them : tripod, flashlights, different cameras, different lenses… for me that’s too much and too heavy and makes me immobile. I mostly use one camera and my ‘allround-lens’ what is a 35mm lens. The tripod is only for night photography for longer exposures. And don’t forget a charged spare battery… 😉

      • Thanks for all the advice. I have a primary camera I use, nothing fancy but I love it for what it does and not what it doesnt do … Canon Powershot S120. Night photography something I would love to try!

      • Night photography can be so funny….I love it because the results are so different in lights, colors, shadows and blurrings. You can create dark and mysterious moods by playing around with the shutterspeed. Just give it a try… 🙂
