  1. Josephine:
As an artist, you have the magic of turning color into a joy similar to the 4th. movement of the 9th. Beethoven’s symphony. In the B & W that magic turns you into Nostalgia. Your work is very similar to Andrei Tarkovsky, our unforgettable jewelry maker, translating Cinema As Poetry.
Thank you for sharing that inner beauty within you!

  5. I like the way you have hidden the subject’s face. It adds an illicit feel to the shot. I feel a bit guilty looking at it, and imagine that if I’d taken it, as a man, I’d feel somewhat immoral.
I also wonder what was playing through the headphones, whether the subject knew you were taking the photo…

  6. The shot looks so old school because of the rather old fashioned tube and the lighting but yet this I-phone tells us that we are in the 21st century. Very cool!

  7. Wow! a highly charged image, full of strange symbolism. So much so that I keep coming back to it. Your powers of observation and of selection are impressive. Love it!

  9. Your photography is artistry. Each person has his/her own interpretation. Maybe in this picture the woman just left a party after breaking up with her boyfriend? So cool!

  11. There is so much unsaid in this; a willing collaboration or a stolen moment? What took place between photographer and subject? Where were you going? What happened when you arrived? Great sense of mystery – love it.
