Das klingt ja spannend – da kennst Du wohl auch Plätze, wo man beim ersten Besuch als Tourist nicht hinkommt. So lernt man eine Stadt erst richtig kennen. Das geht mir so mit London. Ich war da inzwischen so oft, daß mein Blick nicht mehr von den üblichen Touristenattraktionen abgelenkt wird – und jetzt wird das erst richtig interessant!
Ja das stimmt. Einfach mal aus dem Touristenstrom ausbrechen und schon tut sich ne neue Welt auf. Die Hinterhöfe in Amsterdam bergen so manches großartige Restaurant zum Beispiel. Lokale mit 3 oder 4 Tischen, aber unglaublich gut.
My only time there was when I was 7…my older sisters found some other “places” to pursue. Funny to see places called “Saloon” and “Indian” there! The overhead lights and small patio area tucked in are perfect.
Hi David, Amsterdam was a very special experience for me. I know a lot of cities, but Amsterdam really is unique for me. The people there are so friendly and helpful. The canals and buildings are worth seeing, and there is a fantastic nightlife in the town! 🙂
